Dinner in the Vines
Erik Orlowski from the Fifth Season Restaurant and Eric Fry of Lenz Winery present “Dinner in the Vines.” Please join us for a twilight summer dinner in the vines at one of the North Fork’s premier vineyards on Saturday, August 28th. A wine and cheese reception and vineyard tour will begin at 4:30pm. Followed by a five course dinner paired with Lenz wines served on a beautifully set table amongst the grapevines at 5:30pm. This month Wine Spectator features The Fifth Season in their article “Long Island: The sleepy North Fork and the glitzy Hamptons share a love for good Merlot and local foods.” One excerpt reads, ‘One of the reasons we moved out here was because there were so many resources we could use,” said [Chef Erik] Orlowski, who worked in Manhattan before opening the Fifth Season in 2004. “The foods that grow out here grow side by side with the grapes and complement the wines well.” It all adds up to a perfect match and a distinctive East End identity.’

Mother’s Day 2010
Please join us Sunday, May 9th for a special four course dinner. The dinner includes a sparkling champagne punch cocktail and tasting from the chefs for $50pp + tax + gratuity. Children under 12 years old are $10pp + tax + gratuity. The children’s dinner includes selections from our children’s menu, unlimited beverage and seasonal gelato.

Welcome Spring
Asparagus for chefs is like budbreak for winemakers on Long Island. It denotes the beginning of a bountiful harvest of fresh, mouthwatering produce that feels long overdue after New York’s seemingly everlasting winters. Our chefs often simply sautee or roast this vegetable, letting its natural grassy sweetness speak for itself. Our Spring 2010 menus will be offered beginning Tuesday, March 30th-Monday, June 21st.
